We all know and love Valentine’s Day, but not everyone had a Valentine this year. For those who didn’t celebrate and instead want to appreciate the love from their friendships instead, here are 6 ideas just for you! Valentine’s day may come once a year, but celebrating your girls is forever!

Valentine’s Day Themed Brunch Party

With this one, you can get really creative with it! Pinterest will be your best friend for this; it has a lot of ideas for any brunch item you can bring. Some really good treats I’ve found that are easy to make are chocolate-covered strawberries, Valentine’s-inspired mimosas, pink or red sugar cookies, and pink melted chocolate-covered popcorn!

Now, for the brunch portion, you can really do whatever you want and eat classic breakfast items: waffles, eggs, bacon, fruit, charcuterie boards, etc.

Game Night with a “Galentine’s” twist

I mean…who doesn’t love a good game night, right? I love this idea because it can always be lighthearted and fun. One of my favorite card games that would be perfect for this is the “Self Love” card game from “We’re Not Really Strangers” or the original “We’re Not Really Strangers” card game. Their card games ask amazingly deep questions that can not only get you to know your friends better, but also to get to know yourself better, questions such as: “What was your first impression of me? What’s one way our relationship has gotten better over time? When was the last time you surprised yourself” There are a lot of options to choose from and you can also play other games like bingo, Family Feud, or Jeopardy.

Self-Care/Slumber Party

This one is perfect if you want to have a more relaxed and calming experience with your friends. You can do face masks, put some relaxing essential oils in a diffuser, paint your nails, all while watching a rom-com movie in the background. Invite your girls to bring their Valentine’s pj’s, blankets, and slippers to add to the festivities. Everyone can also bring sweet treats such as brownies, cookies, cupcakes, or popcorn to add to the experience.

Vision Board Party

If you haven’t already made one, this is a perfect time to do so with your friends. You can either do this digitally or use supplies such as whiteboards or printed out pictures of what you want to put on your board. I love to use Canva to create mine, and I love this idea because you can really help inspire each other while making your own vision boards for 2026!

Scrapbook or a “Memory Jar Night”

This one is very special and sentimental because most people only make scrapbooks for their babies, places they’ve traveled to, or their pets. However, I don’t see many doing it with and for their friendships. Putting memories in a scrapbook is important because it allows you and your girls to reminisce on old times, giggle at old photos, and encourages you to tap into your creative side!.

Paint & Sip

The classic paint and sip is another fun and creative activity. Creating a low-stakes, easy going environment is a great way for you and your friends to tap into your inner artists!

Here are the materials you will need to bring:

  • Canvases
  • Paint
  • Paint brushes
  • Music
  • Drink of choice

Sitting and talking, playing music, and enjoying your drinks while painting is the perfect girls’ night in Galentine’s day activity!

With these ideas in mind, gather your friends, enjoy the moment, and don’t forget to stay safe!
