It’s very easy to find yourself lost in the endless tasks of life. Finding time to study, doing homework, participating in clubs or sororities, hanging out with friends, summer jobs and making sure to call family can lead you to be a frequent rider of the struggle bus. Luckily, there are many ways in which you can help yourself to become more organized so that you don’t forget to do anything. Here are some easy ways to help you get your shit together so you won’t be saying…

1. Buy a planner

Planners are a great way to map out the next year of your life. They’re cute and can be really fun depending on what kind you buy. The ODU bookstore has quite the selection, or try Paper Source!

2. Hang a calendar in your room

Hanging a calendar on your wall can be a great way to keep track of your schedule and to-dos because you’ll see it every day. Buy one that is a white board and you can change what’s on it as often as you need to.

3. Set reminders in your phone

Most of us college students have our phones with us 24/7 and look at it all of the time. So what better way to remind yourself of things you need to get done then to set a notification on the thing you look at the most?

4. Write To-do lists

This is my personal favorite way to keep track of things I need to get done. You can write it on any kind of paper, whether that be a sticky note or in a notebook, and you can check off items when you complete them. You could even write one in the notes app on your phone.

Use any of these ways to keep track of your life, or all of these ways. Whatever works for you. Now go map out your schedule, take a deep breath and remember, you’re a boss bitch. You got this!
