3 Beauty and the Beast Bakes Fit for a Disney Princess

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Nottingham chapter.

Tying in with the launch of the new highly anticipated Beauty and the Beast remake, we bring you a few baking recipes fit for dreamers, princes and talking candlesticks alike.

The Grey Stuff

Taken directly from the well-known ‘Be Our Guest’ showstopper number, Disney started selling the grey stuff in their Orlando parks back in 2012. However this simple recipe brings it direct to your kitchen and can be used for topping cupcakes, brownies, or eaten just as it comes. You need only combine pudding mix, oreos and a couple other easy ingredients for a “delicious” dessert – don’t believe us? Ask the dishes!

Signature Dress Cupcakes

Whilst we’ll never look as good as Emma Watson in that iconic yellow dress, these cupcakes will make you feel like the princess you were always meant to be as you indulge in plenty of vanilla frosting. The recipe suggests using pre-made roses, so that gives you the perfect excuse to be a little lazy with this bake.

Mrs Potts Cake Pops

These Chip-sized treats are a little fiddly to make but are the perfect size for snacking on as you watch your favourite childhood Disney movie once again. Bring everyone’s treasured teapot to life with an assortment of sprinkles and candy melts.
