Why Garnier is a College Girl’s Best Friend

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Notre Dame chapter.

Throughout the years I’ve hopped between all sorts of hair products, face creams and “miracle workers.” Between free samples and luxury line goods, I’ve realized it’s not feasible to keep living like I have an endless bank account because I’m as broke as the next college girl. Recently I stumbled upon Garnier’s micellar face wash and leave-in hair conditioners.

After trying these products every day for two weeks, I can guarantee I won’t be taking them out of my routine. It says a lot when I commit to using a product every morning and night,  as I tend to keep my self-care to the bare minimum. I discovered that the face wash works best in the evening, as it does an incredible job of taking my makeup off (which everyone knows is a big hassle on its own). Since I wash my face right before I go to bed, I usually save myself the time in the morning and just use the toner.

As a busy student, I am a huge advocate for prolonging hair washes for as long as possible to avoid my work. I’ve been searching for ages to find products which keep my hair looking good without getting bogged down by grease and cream at the end of the day. I tried using the Garnier Repairing Leave-in Miracle Nectar for three days in a row and my hair has never been so luscious

Garnier’s products surpass all of my high standards for being long-term staples on my shelf. Especially because they are super budget-friendly. The Garnier face wash provides nearly triple as much as the other brands I’ve tried for the same price, and it works like a charm! Even better than other brands which overcharge and underdeliver!
