I am the last person to be writing about how to stop being stressed out during finals week. I am a real life hot mess when anything stressful comes my way, so I thought, rather than giving you hypocritical advice on how to deal with stress, I could let you know all of the effects stress can have on your body.                                                                                                     Courtesy of Tenor

Stress can affect so many parts of your body. Below are some things to take note of while you are cramming hardcore for your next exam.

Stress can cause an increase in headaches.

It can also increase your likelihood of having anxiety or depression.

Stress can often cause you to miss a period, due to the fact that your hormones are fluctuating.

Muscle tension is often a sign of a stressful situation. If your muscles contract to protect you from stress, it may take a while for them to relax.

Stress can also cause you to have an upset stomach.

There are so many effects of stress, and you could be affected differently. Just try to find the best way for you to deal with stressful situations. Everyone de-stresses differently, so find whats works for you!
