Jennifer Aniston Named World’s Most Beautiful Woman of 2016

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at New Haven chapter.

Jennifer Aniston is, once again, gracing all of us with her beauty on the most recent cover of People magazine, as she has been named World’s Most Beautiful Woman of 2016. As if any of us are surprised.

Queen Aniston, age 47, has been acting since 1987 and has won countless awards, but says she is “very, VERY flattered,” by the honor.

“It’s funny, it’s a really quick transition from not a care and now all of a sudden, we’ve got to really be mindful of what we put inside our bodies,” she said in her People interview. “And how we sleep and take care of ourselves. You can get away with a lot in your 20s.”

She goes on to say that she’s learned to embrace her appearance over the years, and has always felt that she feels her best when she’s healthy and strong. She believes that beauty is learning to love every single thing about yourself. Amen Jennifer!

The Friends alumna also named some of her beauty icons; including women such as Gloria Steinem and Lauren Hutton.
