Meet Meagan Cauda ’18 and Gabe Drown ’17, our first Campus Cutie Couple!
How did you meet?
MC: A party on Homecoming night my freshman year (2014)
GD: We met October 26, 2014. We were both at party on homecoming night.
Who initiated the first kiss?
GD: I did.
How long have you been dating?
MC: A year and 2 months!
What has been your most memorable date?
MC: When I got to take him to New York City and we got to shop and explore and go ice-skating in Bryant Park!
GD: It was more of a vacation rather than date, over the summer we took a weekend off and spent it at Lake George together.
What is your favorite thing about your significant other?
MC: My favorite thing would have to be his laugh and his humor because it always makes me smile and puts me in a good mood.
GD: Her eyes and her lips.
Who said “I love you” first?
MC: I did (surprisingly)!
How do you resolve arguments?
MC: We just talk things out (well, sometimes we yell) and try to make each other understand why the other is upset. We discuss how we can each improve so that those kinds of fights don’t happen again in the future.
GD: She tells me how dumb I am, and then we talk about it for a while.
Do you have any advice to give to new couples?
MC: Don’t rush things. Appreciate the little things in your relationship and never take for granted what you have.
GD: I think that the most useful tip I am able to give is that understanding and appreciating one another is so important. No matter what obstacle stands in your way, if you take it slow and take it together it should work out. Always be thankful to have that person.

GD: Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell
