I don’t know about you, but I get tired just thinking about working out. I’m that person who gets winded after a flight of stairs. If you’re someone who, perhaps like me, is athletically challenged, it can be hard to stay focused and motivated while you exercise. However, there is one thing that helps me more than anything else (even telling myself *insert celebrity crush of the day’s name here* is cheering me on). And that would be a KILLER playlist.

It’s taken me a very long time to perfect this list, but now that I have it, I feel like nothing can stop me. Before I begin, here’s a bit of a disclaimer. I typically switch between 2 playlists when I work out- one for running and one for everything else. The actual playlists I have are about 230 songs total. For the sake of your time and my sanity, I picked my Top 30 from the two that work for anything (though I starred off my favorites for running!).

Leggo.

  1. Beg For It- Iggy Azalea

  2. Don’t Stop- 5 Seconds of Summer *** (This is my #1 favorite running song- the beat is perfect for running at any pace, intervals for increased speed, etc. It’s perfect.)

  3. Centuries- Fall Out Boy

  4. Show Stopper- Danity Kane (throwback, or nah?)

  5. Victorious- Panic! At The Disco ***

  6. Headstrong- Trapt

  7. Blame It (Jamie Foxx Cover)- Of Mice & Men ***

  8. Diva- Beyonce

  9. Diamonds Are Forever- The Cab ***

  10. Antidote- Travi$ Scott

  11. Seein’ Red- Dustin Lynch

  12. Old Scars/Future Hearts- All Time Low ***

  13. My Homies Still- Lil Wayne

  14. We Are- Hollywood Undead

  15. What I Like About You (Cover)- 5 Seconds of Summer

  16. Fashionably Late- Falling In Reverse ***

  17. Shabba- ASAP Ferg, ASAP Rocky

  18. Bailando- Enrique Iglesias

  19. Salute- Little Mix

  20. Doubt- Twenty One Pilots

  21. Give It Away- Red Hot Chili Peppers ***

  22. Wild For The Night- ASAP Rocky, Skrillex

  23. Somethin’ Bad- Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert

  24. Break Your Little Heart- All Time Low ***

  25. Somebody Told Me- The Killers ***

  26. We Dem Boyz- Wiz Khalifa

  27. Harlem- New Politics ***

  28. Big Bass- Khil Datta, MGK

  29. Cry Out- One OK Rock

  30. Seven Nation Army- The White Stripes

As you can see, there’s quite a variety of artists and genres in this playlist, which I think is definitely key. Don’t be afraid to mix things up! It can help you find that inspiration you didn’t know you needed! Most importantly, when making a playlist like this, play around with it. See what works best for you! Happy Gym Day!
