Seasons

Your love is like a cool spring day
Sweet, innocent, tender, and new
I heard the sound of bird’s chirping
And smelled the freshness of flower’s at bloom
With a quick glance in your eyes,
I knew it was just me and you.

Your love was like a hot summer day,
Passionate, rough, but full of love.
Starting off slow,
But we quickly started moving fast.
Screams of strong proclamations of love,
And a dire need to please all of you.
When it’s all over,
We lay together in our naked embrace.
You smile at me,
And I at you.
No wirds needed
With a simple quick galance in your eyes.

Your love was like a breezy fall day.
Falling leaves and changing colors,
But what of us?
Stronger than ever
Huddled tight to your sweater
I looked in your eyes and knew
That there could be anyone better than you.

Only,
When you looked into mines,
You couldn’t say that the same feeling ran true.

Hi everyone!

I am a sophomore at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University who should be majoring in Weddings, but is actually a Journalism & Mass Communications student with a concentration in Multimedia. Originally I am from Woodbridge, Virginia, which is about 30 minutes south of our nation’s capital. I have lived here all my life, but I’m not afraid to branch out and explore the world.

This past summer I studied abroad in Sydney, Australia to engage and immerse myself in Australian culture. The experience was phenomenal and I’m already counting down the days until I can return that beautiful country.
