The temperature is starting to rise and warm days are here again. Soon flowers will bloom and everything will be bright and colorful again.

Go on a picnick: It’s traditional and a classic for a reason. When the weather is beautiful there is nothing more relaxing than eating food with someone close to your heart.

Attend a baseball game: If you’re sports fans then take yourself out to a ball game and sit back and relax for nine innings or for four quarters of football.

Go to the zoo: Take a stroll through the zoo and learn about all the animals and creatures at your own pace.

Go hiking: For our super athletic couples who want to get their blood pumping and start sweating. Take a trip all of your local hiking trails and enjoy Mother Nature.

Play basketball, tennis, etc.: There’s nothing like a cute competition to spice things up. Any recreational center or park will have available spaces for a wide variety of athletic activities.

Watch the sunrise: Rise and shine! Bring some snacks and blankets along and drive to a spot with a beautiful view and let nature take care of the rest.

Play miniture golf: The perfect time to goof around or even have a double date would be at a put put course.

Hi everyone!

I am a sophomore at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University who should be majoring in Weddings, but is actually a Journalism & Mass Communications student with a concentration in Multimedia. Originally I am from Woodbridge, Virginia, which is about 30 minutes south of our nation’s capital. I have lived here all my life, but I’m not afraid to branch out and explore the world.

This past summer I studied abroad in Sydney, Australia to engage and immerse myself in Australian culture. The experience was phenomenal and I’m already counting down the days until I can return that beautiful country.
