What are Scorpios? Zodiac signs are the specific constellations that the sun passes. The zodiac signs are used to predict personality traits. The individuals classified as Scorpios are born from October 23-November 21st. They are part of the water element along with Cancer and Pisces.

Personality Traits of Scorpios: Being a Scorpio myself, there are numerous stereotypes and perceptions of the zodiac sign and who they are. The aura of a Scorpio is defined as mysterious and secretive. Scorpios tend to keep to themselves with decisions, actions, secrets, and feelings. Yet, despite such a mysterious aura, Scorpio holds an intense passion and creativity that differs them from many individuals. Scorpios are known for their loyalty and devotion to projects, individuals, and themselves. From the four elements, they are classified as water signs but often get confused with fire signs due to their intense personality.

Scorpio Compatibility: Scorpio and Cancer are one of the most compatible pairs due to their shared emotional complexity. Both signs appreciate privacy and loyalty and are highly intuitive, which means they know what the other person wants. If you find yourself as one of these signs communicating with the other, try it out and see where it goes because you could be naturally connected in terms of friendship or love. Cancers also tend to be nurturing, aiding Scorpio’s insecurities or overthinking, which makes communication and expressing emotions between the two compatible.

Next, Scorpio and Pisces tend to be compatible  as well. Pisces tend to be loyal, which also follows Scorpio’s tendencies. Pisces also tend to have a romantic side which compliments Scorpio’s need for passion and creativity. A romantic flare between the two could be really fun, but a friendship could also be very inspiring for the two.

Finally, one interesting pair is between Scorpio and Taurus. As both are complementary signs, with them being the opposite placements, the statement “opposites attract” works well in this case.  The biggest similarities between the two are that they are both loyal and being honest matters to them. While this might create a spark, Taurus tends to be stubborn and closed off about their feelings, while Scorpios tend to be emotional and intense which can cause much tension between them.

Scorpio dislikes: Scorpios are selective individuals, and have many dislikes. One of the biggest dislikes Scorpios have is being a backup plan or a second option. If you’re looking to impress or build  a relationship with a Scorpio, show them that they’re a priority to you and that they matter. As a Scorpio myself, I appreciate keeping more personal topics to myself, but once comfortable will be the first to talk about deeper and emotional topics. I can’t speak for every other Scorpio, but if you want to formulate a stronger relationship with a Scorpio just follow their energy and the conversation. It will all flow with time.

Scorpio likes: One of the biggest attributes Scorpios appreciate is someone who values honesty. Another element is learning: one thing I love to do is learn new things from an individual and try new things. This trait leaves room for appreciation, growth, and knowledge between each other.

Final thoughts: Since this article is purposely a more fun and astrological type of piece, I wanted to emphasize that everyone is different and these are not things you should follow to an extreme! There is so much to an individual outside of just their zodiac sign, so making sure to take those chances and risks of getting to know someone is the fun part.
