The win against Nebraska Saturday night wasn’t just another push closer to a Big Ten Championship win for the Spartans, it also brought Senior, Draymond Green, his 1,000th rebound. Â This makes him only the fourth player in the history of Spartan Men’s Basketball to get the honor. Â His 20 points in Saturdays game not only helped the Spartans in the victory of 62-34 over the Cornhuskers but also brought us closer to an outright Big Ten Championship and a no. 1 seed in the upcoming NCAA Championship in March. Â Green is a leader on the court, for not only his teammates and coach Izzo but also for the entire Spartan Nation. Â Senior day is this Sunday, March 4 and we know it will be a somber day for the Izzone and all #23 fans but will be an exciting leap into March Madness.
