‎بيتي با قلبك

forever

so warm, so cozy

safe.

Built from nothing but your love,

so pure and wholesome

                                          …perfect…

But, it was too much

and i could no longer accept

your never-ending hospitality

I had to return the key,

relinquishing all rights to your heart

Like a coward, yes

running from possibly the best thing ever

                running from your love

                      running from you

even after i’ve left,

after cobwebs have filled the emptiness

and the echo of silence has flooded the void,

you continue to let the fireplace burn,

Alive.

keeping it just as warm and cozy as before,

just as Real.

my home is in your heart

~always~

‎بيتي با قلبك

i guess

too cold, too empty

alone

Constructed without a blueprint

                                                     …unstable…

It’s been built, sure

but where are you?

never home

and always working

              always busy

                    always gone

why do i still hold on?

Well, your world is gorgeous…

palm trees,

   beaches,

and the smell of salt in the air

But sometimes,

even the most perfect of things

could end up being fatal.

yet still, i’m hopeful.

hopeful your absence won’t bring Tears

hopeful your indifference won’t bring Heartache

hopeful that you won’t bring a universe of Pain

my home is in your heart

~for now~
