Morgan Doyle is the vice president of C.A.R.E. Club at MSU. C.A.R.E. is dedicated to community service in the Lansing area.
Morgan’s favorite place to volunteer at is the Haven House, a short-term shelter for people needing a place to stay until they can get back up on their feet. It was one of the first places she volunteered at and she loves the direct interaction with the people residing there. Her experience at Haven House is what inspired her to take a leadership position in the club.
After graduation, Morgan wants to work on the cruise ship Fathom. It combines her two passions, hospitality business and volunteering. The crew of the ship volunteers in the ports it visits. If traveling isn’t an option in her future career, she would like to work at a resort and ultimately run a homeless shelter.
C.A.R.E. has many opportunities to volunteer, including visiting nursing homes, working at an animal shelter and many other options. Meetings are held every other Tuesday in Case Hall.
