Jared is a walk-on player for MSU’s Varsity football team.
When did you start playing football? I started playing in first grade.
Why did you decide to try out for the team? I thought it would be a great program to play for, and I missed football after playing for so long.
What is your favorite part about being on the football team? Bonding with the team members. We are a great group and get along really well. Also, we get some pretty cool gear.
What are you most excited about for in the upcoming fall 2016 football season? Playing Notre Dame because I’ve always felt a strong rivalry towards them, and we didn’t get the chance to play them in the fall 2015 season.
What types of events does the football team participate in off of the field? The football team volunteers at local schools, and we have a team dinner the night before every game.
Where is your favorite place to eat on campus? Snyder Phillips
What is your favorite thing about MSU so far? The bond you can make with friends that live in the same dorm as you. They are always around to have fun or help when you need it!
What do you plan to do after graduating? I plan to become a financial analyst.
