HC Survival Kit Review

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at MSU chapter.

Over a week ago, I received an email telling me that my “Her Campus Survival Kit is on its way.” I anxiously kept checking my email anticipating the package’s arrival. Finally, it came! I don’t think I’ve ever been happier to carry a cardboard box the size of a St. Bernard up to the third floor of my building.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t open it right away because I picked it up before a meeting. Plus, I’m the type of person that likes to give a present or package the attention it deserves. An entire day passed before I actually had some down time in my room. (I’m sure every upperclassman can attest to this issue.) I had a long, stressful day and when I sat down on my futon, I smiled when I looked across the room and realized I had a package full of goodies awaiting me. With excitement, I tore open the box and laid out all the contents inside.

It’s not every day that you get to receive a plethora of skincare, intimates and discounts! Over the course of a week or so, I used the Aeropostale water bottle during workouts, the Luna bars to fight off hunger during class and the Affinitas Cupcake Panties for obvious reasons of course.

It’s been great to enjoy all the freebies in one way or another, but even better to be able to share them with my team! All the girls that came to the meeting were happy to take some freebies, especially Chipotle’s “financial aid.”

There’s still quite a few discount cards and skincare items left so, I plan on handing them out as a marketing tool for HCMSU. These HC Survival Kits were a great idea all around. Such a cool thing to be a part of!
