Do you like romance and a little bit of mystery? If so, then this is the book for you. Layla is one of my favorite books by Colleen Hoover. This book shows not only the extent people will go to for true love, but also what love itself entails.

I enjoyed this book because of the mystery and background. The breathtaking story holds power, and I can honestly say there isn’t one thing I disliked about this book. Not only did Hoover write the story well, but the timeline of events also matched seamlessly. Overall, the plot showed the readers what love can make people do, and the story is just the bumps in the road.

I recommend this book for anyone who is looking for an adrenaline rush and a rom com. Not only does this book hold so many valuable moments, but it also has its own bit of horror. Additionally, the character development throughout the book is amazing. Hoover started the characters’ storylines with such little lives, then BOOM – they’re living celebrities.

Through this story, Hoover demonstrates how much a person will go through with another person to keep them in their lives. She took “until death does us part” to another level. Overall, this book has been and will continue to be one of my all time favorites. Hoover has delivered greatly with this book and many more of her works. My overall rating of this book would be an 8/10.
