America decided to look towards a presidency of unity and change.
While Trump has routinely decided to use hateful rhetoric and speech fueled by intolerance and bigotry,
America has decided on a voice of reason and transparency, on a president-elect that speaks with compassion.
While Trump has decided to fan the flames of racism with his white supremacy,
America has decided to move towards love, inclusion, and equality.
While Trump has decided to value money over lives, and deception over truth,
America has decided to value science, our most vulnerable, and hope over fear.
Trump’s decisions have ripped apart America, leaving us weak and divided. Today, America has decided that we want to heal the wounds that he has left us with. We decided we want to be better, do better, and demand better.
America has made its choice. America has decided. And most importantly, Donald Trump, America has decided that you no longer get to.
