These are some of my favorite beauty products I use that I would recommend! I am no beauty expert and I like to keep this simple and easy. (without breaking the bank either)
Pearlessence Restoring Lash & Brow Oil
After doing some research, I learned that castor oil is the secret to growing longer lashes. I have tried other eyelash serums and they caused redness and irritation around my eye, most likely due to the long ingredient list of harsh chemicals. I found this at TJ Maxx and its one and only ingredient is pure black castor oil. I recommend putting it on before bed and being consistent to see maximum results.
Jergen’s Tanning Lotion
Instead of going to a tanning bed, I use Jergen’s Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer on my body to get a nice natural tan. I have been using Jergen’s for over five years and it does not leave any noticeable streaks or lines at all. I apply the lotion about three to four times a week and it feels just like a regular moisturizing lotion. You can find Jergen’s tanning lotion at many stores such as Target or Walmart.
Isles of Paradise Tanning Water
While I use Jergen’s Tanning Lotion on my body, I use the Isles of Paradise Tanning Water on my face. After washing your face or showering, mist your face with a few sprays of this tanning water. I then pat my face down with my hands allowing everything to dry and soak into my skin. I believe there is a tanning mitt you can use as well but I just use my bare hands. It takes about 4 hours for the tan to appear and usually lasts a couple of days. The Isles of Paradise Tanning Water is sold at Sephora or Amazon. They even sell refill bags to reduce plastic waste and to reuse the original bottle.
Raw Sugar Lip scrub
I use the Raw Sugar Lip Scrub when my lips start to get dry and have dead skin on them. It exfoliates your lips leaving them super soft and smooth. I use this as needed and not every day. Mine came in a pack with their lip balm and that product works great as well.
Cetaphil face cleanser
After being a St. Ives facewash user for years (yikes), I finally changed to a dermatologist-recommended product Cetaphil. I have seen great results since my switch to Cetaphil and have adapted a consistent face washing routine. This product works for almost all skin types and is found at Target and many other stores.
Kristin Ess shampoo and conditioner
Over the past few years, I have been trying to practice better hair care regimes. I started washing my hair fewer times a week, resulting in less greasy hair in between washes over time. I also made the switch to Kristin Ess shampoo and conditioner and found much healthier and shinier hair. Following the directions on the bottle and only shampooing when needed has resulted in the best hair I have had in a long time.
