We all know how amazing it is when winter break comes and you don’t have to stress about deadlines and tests, but all good things must come to an end. Now it is time to get back into the swing of things which can be really hard.

One of the things you can do to help you get back into the swing of things is finding a couple of people. Now this could be any of your friends or even some people you meet in your new classes, to do homework together. Even if this is just once a week you can have a good time while you complete your assignments. I think just being with your friends and doing homework with them can make it  a little bit more fun. It is homework and it takes a lot to make homework fun.

Another thing you can do to get back in the routine of classes and the hectic schedule of college is keeping a planner. Even if it is just for the first couple of weeks, use it  to keep you organized and up to date when it comes to homework. I have started doing this and honestly just writing it down helps me a lot. I write it down and it seems to stick in my mind better.

While you are doing the planner you can also plan when when you are going study for each class and even take little blocks for thirty minute increments, or whatever time you feel you need to study for that class. This will also come in handy for when you need to plan out your day or if you need breaks.

One important thing you can do is meet with your professors. Meeting with your professors gives you a chance to put yourself out there and show you are serious about the class. Professors like to get to know you and it shows that you are taking the class seriously and are more likely to make a really good impression on your professor.

Whatever you do to make this semester great just make sure you take time to be with yourself and create me-time. Just because school can be stressful does not mean you always have to be stressed out. Take time for yourself and most importantly, you can do this!
