After the first three reveals of the Masked Singer, many people cannot wait to see what comes next.
Week four aired Oct. 13 leaving us all in shock. Group B’s performances were out of this world, from Seahorse’s cover of “My Heart Will Go On” to Crocodile’s Britney Spears cover of “Toxic.” At the end of the night, America voted and Baby Alien was unmasked revealing former NFL quarterback and current ESPN commentator Mark Sanchez.
After five weeks of clues, reveals, and masks it was finally time to meet Group C on Oct. 28. The last five celebrities made their mark in their introduction. Even though we want to see them perform again, someone had to unmask.
The secret contestants on Fox’s The Masked Singer have been bringing the heat week after week.
If you are not a Masked Singer super sleuth yet, don’t worry my last article introduces clues to help you unmask each celebrity.
Five of the 16 masks have already been unmasked. Here are some more clues on who is who, and who people think they are.
Group B:
After their second performance, Group B gave use a blast from the past by showing us a childhood clue to help our guesses.
Gremlin – *Revealed* No guesses were really able to be thrown around since Gremlin unmasked himself to be Mickey Rourke.
Seahorse – Popular guesses include Camila Cabello, Halsey, Hailee Steinfeld, and Bebe Rexha.
Clues: Her childhood clue was a periwinkle balloon with rainbow-colored feathers inside. “Alright Nick, light as a feather, heavy on clues, this should help you not confuse” she said, and revealed in her new clue package “Heartbroken, I posted up in my room for what felt like a thousand years, spilling my soul onto the page.”
Serpent – Popular guesses include Leslie Odom Jr., John Legend, Daveed Diggs.
Clues: His childhood clue was a baby bottle on wheels. “This baby bottle should get your wheels turning,” he said, and revealed in his new clue package “I’ve taken an unorthodox path to get here. Starting out, I could barely make rent” — is that a Rent reference?
Whatchamacallit – Popular guesses include Tyler the Creator, Damian Lillard, Terrell Owens, and Swizz Beatz.
Clues:His childhood clue was a book called “Hairy Tales of the Whatcha Fam” by Doodad Doohickey. “I love a bedtime story, and I’m an open book. So Ken, you should know exactly who I am,” he said, and revealed in his new clue package he said at the height of his career, he was “ready to dance like never before” but then he got a deflating phone call that his mom was “in bad shape.”
Crocodile – Popular guesses (still) include Nick Carter and Adam Lambert.
Clues: His childhood clue was a crocodile piñata with dolphins inside. “I just cracked the case wide open, because this clue has an important porpoise to it,” he said, and revealed in his new clue package “my own father didn’t believe in my talent,” he says, as a mustachioed crocodile is seen inside the house watching “30Croc.”
Baby Alien – *Revealed* Popular guesses include Freddie Prinze Jr. and comedian Jeff Dunham, but the fourth reveal was former NFL quarterback and current ESPN commentator Mark Sanchez.
Clues: His childhood clue was a firetruck. “This particular toy is near and dear to my heart. But Joel McHale, you’re hot on my trail” and revealed in his new clue package “public relationships probed and close encounters with money-hungry sharks.”
Group C:
We finally got to see Group C perform after the show was postponed a week due to the world series game. These last five masks we will get to see the last five masks perform…
Jellyfish – Popular guesses include Sophia Richie, Gabby Douglas, and hinted at a TikTok star.
Clue: “Burrr! I assure you that even though I may be cold-blooded, I have a warm and glowing flow with H20.” The clue package revealed a tiara and talked about being a “princess,” as well as showing an angelfish for Charlie’s Angels maybe.
Broccoli – Popular guesses include Bill Murray and Howie Mandel.
Clue: “I’m a brocco-lean, mean, heart-pumping machine. After all, it’s how I got my six-pack.” The clue package included TikTok and social media. It also hinted that he might be younger, but his singing voice sounds older.
Mushroom – Popular guesses include Frank Ocean and Donald Glover to Hamilton star Anthony Ramos.
Clue: “Mushrooms are resilient and thrive in all circumstances. Being here has
made me realize this show is fertile ground to explore another side of yourself.” The clue package said “young, scrappy and hungry” and “I got my shot” and “the shroom where it happened.”
Squiggly Monster – Popular guesses include Brad Garrett, Ray Romano, and The Rock.
Clue: “It’s very fitting that I have so many appendages. After all, I’m known for having a lot of hands to latch onto.” The clue package showed him breaking through rocks and had a video game clue… something like Jumanji?
Lips – *Revealed* Popular guesses include Wendy Williams, and people seem very keen on that guess. The fifth reveal was talk show host, author, and Nick’s good friend Wendy Williams
Clue: “If you want a hint about me, I own who I am. I know that my voice can go high, but my dishes go deep.” The clue package included disco and roller skating, as well as a west side sign.
Group A:
Dragon – *Revealed* Popular guesses were Busta Rhymes and the first reveal was Busta Rhymes!
Sun -Popular guesses include Demi Lovato, Christina Aguilera, LeAnn Rimes.
Clues: “I’m the Sun because I love to light up the world around me. We’ve all had periods of darkness, but my powerful rays have been known to break through the clouds” and “If you’re trying to figure out who I am, here’s a hint. This sun knows how to shine like a torch, even during the freezing winter. America, my identity will never dawn on you.”
Popcorn – Popular guesses include Tina Turner, Mary J. Blige, Macy Gray, Cyndi Lauper.
Clues: “Jet setting to exotic places with royalty,” She takes a spin on a “Proud Mary-Go-Round,” and “Straight up, I built a career around love. But that doesn’t mean I’m soft. I’m a hard corn husk-ler.”
Giraffe – *Revealed* Popular guesses included The Rock, Hamilton’s Christopher Jackson, Travis Barker, or Payton Manning and the third reveal was Brian Austin Green.
Snow Owls – Popular guesses include Chip and Joanna Gaines, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, Carlos and Alexa PenaVega, and Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black.
Clues: “We’re here because performing on stage with someone else is always twice as nice. We’re on our hands and knees hoping for victory. After all, we are birds of ‘Pray'” and Says they were in Hollywood together, and that they love Christmas.
