5 Must Have Spring Time Savers

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Minnesota chapter.

As Spring Break approaches, so does the end of the semester. And with the end of the semester comes a ridiculous amount of stress – it simply feels like there’s not enough time in the day to accomplish all of your assignments, make it to all of your meetings and somehow manage to get to bed at a reasonable hour. So, saving time wherever we can is an absolute necessity. Here are a few tips (and goodies from our #HCSurvivalkit) to help you save time during the final half of the semester.

1. Stop going tanning.

I am 100 percent guilty of tanning. I just wanted to get a pre-Spring Break glow, ya know? And can you blame me?! We live in Minnesota for goodness sake…but who has time to go tanning? I don’t. Who wants to pay for tanning? Not this girl. Not to mention tanning is bad for your beautiful skin! Say see ya later to carving out time in your schedule to tan, and say hello to L’oreal Bronzing Towelettes and Lotion. You can self-tan from the comfort of your own home, you’ll save time and money, and your skin will be forever grateful.

2. Use your planner.

What was my New Year’s resolution again? Oh yeah, to be more organized. Am I more organized? Probably not, but I will be with a new Erin Condren planner and labeling stickers! Planners not only help us keep track of all that we have to do, they help us accomplish our tasks efficiently, whatever they may be. (Pro Tip: if you sign up for the Erin Condren newsletter, you can take 10% off your first order! Saving money to help me be organized and save time? Um, yes.)

3. Pick up some dry shampoo.

Do I need to explain this one? Yes? Okay. So, dry shampoo was formulated by angels and then sent down to earth to make our lives easier. Just kidding. It was made by Freeman Beauty! They’re product Psssst! Tropical Dry Shampoo will make greasy hair one thing you don’t have to worry about on even your busiest days. You can get this lovely product at Express Target in Dinkytown.

4. Find a signature scent.

Having a signature scent will save you time and stress; you won’t have to decide which scent to wear in the morning and you won’t be self conscious about how you smell. Oh, that’s just me? Okay. We’ll anyway, your signature scent will become a part of your daily routine. Deodorant, a little spritz of your signature scent, some confidence, and you’ll be killing it. Don’t have a signature scent? Try out literally any Juicy Couture fragrance; you won’t regret it.

5. Find a signature lip color.

If you’re anything like me, you hopped on the lipstick train only recently, but if you’ve been with lipstick since its comeback, you know how important it is to have a signature lip color. Not only is having a signature color important for aesthetic reasons, but the less time you spend picking out your lip color, the more time you can spend doing literally anything else. Looking for a signature or looking to spice things up? Check out Charlotte Tilbury’s Hot Lips line. There’s only twelve colors, but the possibilities are endless.

So, there you have it ladies. Hopefully these tips help the final half of your semester be stylish and productive. Follow Her Campus Minnesota on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and be sure to stop by our tables if you see us around campus to find out how you can win some of the products mentioned above!
