It’s that time of year. School is coming to a close, warm weather and sunny days are becoming more frequent. I just can’t help to think about summer vacation. This summer is going to be the best one yet, I can already feel it. I decided that I wanted to make a summer goals list. Making a goals list will help you accomplish things that you don’t think you can accomplish. I suggest to you, to make your own summer 2018 goals list. Once you make the list, everything is easy from there!!

Summer Goal #1: Read, Read, Read!!

This has been an ongoing goal for me. I am not into reading that much, but I want to read more and get into it. I know so many people who love to read. I want to be that person! With that being said, my goal this summer is to read at least three books. The first step in this process is to find books that are worth reading. Do you have any suggestions?

Summer Goal #2: Get an A in a Summer Course.

I am taking one course during the summer 1 session. This course is all online and to be honest with you, I am a little nervous for it. I know a few people who are in this course with me as well, so if I need to reach out to them I can. Receiving an A in this course will help boost my confidence in myself, and it will also boost up my GPA; which is a major plus!

Summer Goal #3: Learn Something New!

“Never stop learning because life never stops teaching.” This quote is something that I cannot stress enough about. Learning is something that we should never take for granted. Learning something new can expand your comfort zones, and make you grow as a whole.

Summer Goal #4: Move Into my 1st  Apartment!!

This is the most exciting thing for me this summer! I get to move into my first apartment off campus! This is a big leap from living in the dorms, but I can’t wait. With this apartment, comes huge responsibility. I am so ready for this exciting time in my life!

Summer Goal #5: Go on Random Adventures!

This summer, I want to explore and get lost. I want to experience new places where I haven’t been before! There is so many places in PA where I haven’t been to. This state has so much to offer, and I want to explore all of it!

Summer Goal #6: Hang Out w/ Friends and Family

This is another big goal for me. Since I have been away at college for the past few months, catching up with friends and family is a big goal of mine. These are the people who are there to support you. Giving them time to be with you is the best way to say thank you!

Although there are only six goals in this article, don’t be afraid to branch out and think of some more! I hope this article has inspired you to make your own summer 2018 goals list!
