The 411 On The New Taco Bell App

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Miami (OH) chapter.

Buckle your seat belts because fast food has gotten even faster. With Taco Bell’s new app for smartphones, customers can order their food before driving to any of the locations near them that are presented on the app. A major advantage of doing this is that then you can cut the line once reaching the restaurant via in-store or drive-thru. Also, your food is guaranteed to still be hot since a “check in” notification is sent once being within a 500 feet radius of the location and then the kitchen starts preparing the order. #SoCollege #ThisIsNotAJoke

The whole app is very welcoming and amusing. Once it is downloaded, you are then asked to continue as a guest or to make an account with Facebook or e-mail. Do not be wary of just using your Facebook because this will NOT post anything revealing to all your friends your low-key passion for Taco Bell. Once logged in the menu appears with clever sayings, like “Engine Starters” for breakfast, “Match Made in Heaven” for combos, or “Hand-Rolled Perfection” for burritos. Once a choice out of the multiples options is made, the customer chooses a location on the map and can personalize their order by adding extra favorite toppings and getting rid of your most hated. Once everything that your heart desires is added to your order, you can check out with a credit card, debit card or Taco Bell card. If you’re feeling generous, you can send an “E-Gift” to a friend by putting their contact in and sending them a Taco Bell card. An exclusively special perk of using this app is that happy hour is offered from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. when the freeze drinks are only a dollar; this is not offered in the stores.

Go now and try out this app, because who wouldn’t want to experience the privilege of cutting the line to get to their fresh and ready tacos with a side of cinnamon twists? At minimum, download it to enjoy a few laughs at the ingenious headings or look at all the unknown options offered for future cravings!
