To Anyone Who Wants To Switch Their Major,

Switching your major is a tough thing to do. It is not just a major; it is a career and a life path after college. Switching your major is hard and it is something that you cannot take lightly. It is something I did twice. And, it is something that I thank myself for doing every day.

Before switching your major, there are some things you need to consider. Are you unhappy in your current major? Will you be able to finish college in a reasonable time frame? And, will this new major make you happier than your current one?

I was nervous to switch my major the first time because I was making a turn in a completely different direction. It was scary and I was nervous about having classes with new people and new professors. As it turned out, these professors and other students welcomed me with open arms. They took me in as one of their own on the first day.

The other students in my major have become some of my best friends. After switching my major, I was so much happier in my classes that I was more welcoming to talk to other people. They were also willing to talk to me because they knew I was nervous.

In reality, no one wants to know what they want to do at 18 years old. It is normal to change your mind. So, to anyone looking to change their major, make sure it is the right decision, and then go for it.
