With all of the cold weather we are experiencing lately, the only thing on my mind is spring. It may be February, but I am completely ready for the transition from my winter wardrobe to my spring one! I’m looking forward to trading in my snow boots and my winter jacket for colorful pastels, patterns, and prints. Before breaking out into full spring-mode, I enjoy compiling a list of my favorite items to guarantee that I will make useful, efficient purchases. Here are a few spring wardrobe staples to check out.

1.     Pink Mules. If you own a pair of the traditional black mules, then you will love these! Similar to the black pair that were popular during the fall and winter, the pink mules are ideal for the spring. They are only $22.99 at Target! Image credit: Target.

2.     Blush Pink Elle Earrings. Statement earrings are a favorite accessory of mine, especially pink ones. Blush pink can be worn as a neutral because it is a lighter color and matches well with most outfits. These earrings would look adorable paired with a sweater or dress this spring. Purchase these Kendra Scott earrings for $55. Image credit: Kendra Scott.

3.     Bell-Sleeve Sweater.  Bell sleeves add a cute detail to any sweater, and this light color will be a nice transition from winter to spring.  I especially love the little bows that tie around the wrists! Purchase this sweater from J.Crew Factory for $34.50. Image credit: J. Crew Factory. 4.     Peep Toe Booties. Peep toe booties and wedges are everywhere this season! Despite where I am shopping, I always seem to come across a pair. This pair from Target, which you can purchase for $34.99, is my favorite so far! Image credit: Target. 5.     Pink Beret. The Parisian look is trending right now, and this blush pink beret is a perfect addition to a spring wardrobe! Since the beginning of spring is always a bit chilly, this hat will keep you warm and stylish at the same time. You can purchase it from H&M for $12.99. Image credit: H&M.

6.      Tie-Neck Blouses. This type of blouse pairs nicely with the beret and the Parisian theme. Since it is made out of a light material, it can easily be tucked into a pair of jeans or a skirt. This is also such an easy piece to style and can be as casual or dressy as you prefer. Purchase this top for $17 from Shein. Image credit: Shein.

7.       Lace Blouses. Lace blouses and tops are another trending item this spring. This is such a versatile piece and it can be easily dressed up or down depending on the event. Purchase this top from Shein for $11.  Image Credit: Shein.

8.        Anything Purple. Purple is transitioning into a versatile color as we witness it reappearing in more than one season. This purple skirt is one of my favorite pieces that I’ve come across in this color so far. While the color is ideal for various seasons, the bow on the side is a cute detail for spring and Easter. Purchase this skirt for $58 from Lauren James. Image credit: Lauren James.

9.         Bamboo/Straw Bags. Last spring and summer, I recall viewing a variety of straw or bamboo bags both online and in stores. I never got around to purchasing one last year, but this year I find myself interested because it would be a nice neutral. You can purchase this bag for $38 from Amazon. Image credit: Amazon.

10.        Elsa Silk Ruffle Top. What’s spring without a little Lilly Pulitzer? You may have seen this top before in traditional Lilly patterns and bright colors but I love it just as much in this shade of pink. This light-weight Elsa is perfect for the beginning of spring when the temperatures are still shifting. Purchase this top for $158 from Lilly Pulitzer. Image credit: Lilly Pulitzer.
