Skincare was never part of my daily routine, or even a thought in my brain, until about a year ago. My freshman year roommates had all of these products that they used every day to keep their skin clean and moisturized and were shocked when I told them I didn’t even wash my face. Since then, I’ve tried some of their go-to products, researched some more on my own, and am starting to perfect my everyday skincare routine. There are two brands that I absolutely love, La Roche Posay and Laneige, and am going to share some of my favorite products with you!

La Roche Posay

La Roche Posay Toleriane Purifying Foaming Facial Wash ($14.99)

This is the first face wash I have ever tried and I LOVE it. I have very sensitive skin that tends to be on the normal/dry side and my face always looks and feels refreshed and hydrated after using it. It comes as a gel and foams when you massage it in your face. You can pick up a bottle of this face wash at Target, Ulta, or even Amazon and it won’t break the bank!

La Roche Posay Double Toleriane Double Repair Facial Moisturizer ($19.99)

After washing my face with La Roche Posay’s facial wash, I use their double repair facial moisturizer to hydrate and nourish my skin. This lightweight cream comes in both UV protective (SPF 30) and non, perfect for day and night. Also made for sensitive skin, this moisturizer has done wonders to my face, replenishing moisture and repairing the natural skin barrier. I have used other moisturizers from different brands to find a cheaper alternative, however, nothing has done a better job keeping my skin fresh than this moisturizer!

Laneige

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask (Berry) ($22)

I discovered this product while watching a GRWM on Youtube and am so glad I did! If you are an avid chapstick user like me, this product is one you will want to add to your skincare routine ASAP! You simply apply this lip-sleeping mask before bed each night and gently rinse it off in the morning. Your lips will thank you as they absorb this product and leave them feeling smooth and refreshed. I personally prefer the berry flavor, but they do have 5 more including gummy bear and vanilla. This is also amazing for the winter months when our lips tend to be extra dry and even peel. You can pick up this product and all the other ones I will list from Laneige at Sephora!

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask ($25)

I received this product for Christmas and it is now my favorite and go-to face mask. You simply apply this gel mask to your face once a week before bed to recharge the moisture overnight and rinse it off in the morning. It’s formulated with Hydro Ionized Mineral Water and feels so cool and calming on your face. Everytime I use this mask I wake up to a soft, glowing, and refreshed face; I highly recommend it!

Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream ($38)

Although this isn’t my everyday moisturizer that I use all over my face, this is still one of my top products to hydrate my skin. I recently just used this product under my eyes and on my cheeks after noticing some dryness and dark circles and woke up so surprised by the results. My skin looked so refreshed and new! I will definitely be taking advantage of this product during midterm week to not look so stressed and exhausted.

Laneige Cream Skin Mist ($27)

Lastly, this mist is the perfect pick-me-up whenever my skin needs hydrating throughout the day. You simply spray the mist on your face whenever it feels dry, before or after makeup, and let it air dry. It’s the perfect product to keep in your bag and to make sure your skin stays fresh all day long!

While my skincare routine may not be as intense as most, I have some daily and weekly products that I absolutely love and can not live without. All of these products are from award winning and trusted companies, La Roche Posay and Laneige, that use ingredients good for you and work with sensitive skin. If you want to spice up your daily skincare routine, I hope some of these products interest you and that you like them just as much as I do!
