MC September Events You Don’t Want To Miss!

Whether you’re a freshman, transfer, or an experienced senior with a new year starting, and classes and clubs in full swing, you may be a bit overwhelmed with all of the different things happening on campus this month. But have no fear! I am here to let you know what important things are going on that you definitely do not want to miss.

Greek Rush Week

If you’re looking to get involved in close knit community focused on finding life-long friendships, philanthropy, and networking, keep your eye out for Rush Week fliers from the Greek entities on Campus!

Fraternities: Delta Kappa Epsilon (DKE) or Alpha Phi Delta (APD)

Sororities: Alpha Upsilon Pi (AYPi) or Sigma Delta Tau (SDT)

Group Exercise Classes

Look out for group exercise classes that are going to be taking place. Check the event calendar for dates and times!

Movie Night (9/15)

Movie nights are back! September 15th, Bring your favorite pillow and blanket to cozy up on the 5th Floor of Kelly Commons. A little birdie said snacks will be provided)

Wicked (9/17)

Make sure you get tickets to the popular Broadway show, Wicked!

Lecture Series (9/8, 9/9, (9/22)

Will Reeve (Sept. 8, noon), Lieutenant General Maryanne Miller (Sept. 9, 10 a.m.) and former NBA player Jason Collins (Sept. 22, 1 p.m.). A diverse group of speakers to start off the lecture series that will continue in October!

Scatterbomb

Catch a Scatterbomb show Fridays at 6. A great way to start the weekend, you won’t want to miss this funny crew.

School of Rock (9/24)

The second Broadway show of the semester, you won’t want to miss!

Lasallian Collegians Retreat

If you’re looking to meet new people and find out what it really means to be Lasallian, sign up for this one night retreat which takes place in Goshen, NY. Contact Conor Reidy (conor.reidy@manhattan.edu) for more info or to sign up!

Poetry (9/29)

Join the Multicultural Center in attending their first Poetry Night of the year. Get there 30 minutes before to sign up because it’s open mic! Snacks and coffee will be provided!

Movie in the City (9/20)

Join the Multicultural Center on a free trip to a movie in the city with your friends! All you have to do is buy your metro card.
