Last Minute Presents For Your Girlfriend

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at LUC chapter.

Christmas may only be a few days away, but if you haven’t gotten your present yet, you’re not alone! According to the national retail federation, 24% of Americans don’t get their purchases in until the weekend before Christmas. Another 7% wait until Christmas Eve and 4% just say “Eh. I’ll wait until after Christmas.”

If you fall into any of those categories, it can be stressful finding a last-minute gift! But from someone who’s been there, here are a few ideas that are certain to knock it out of the park – even if they’re given a few days after Dec. 25!

Plant Subscription Service

Fill your significant other’s life with gorgeous little plants this year – best of all, no one will ever know you didn’t have a present ready until the last minute when you give the gift of a subscription! Choose from succulents, house plants and more!

Statement Hair Clips

One of the best fashion trends to come out of the last year, statement hair pieces are back and looking better than ever! Appropriate enough to take from work to the bar, a fancy new hair clip will elevate any look and have your girl looking fabulous this holiday season.

Nice Gloves

Don’t let your girl freeze when you’re not there to hold her hand this winter! It’s something that can be hard to remember to buy for one’s self, so feel free to take it into your own hands this Christmas (hehe). A cute new pair of gloves is both adorable and practical.

Customized Moon Jewelry

If you’re willing to wait until after Christmas to gift this one, it’s worth it! On sites like Moonglow, simply find out what the moon looked like on the day of her birth and use that to create a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry! It’s a classic gift with a modern twist: chefs kiss.

The Classic…A Bottle of Wine

And if you really are out of time, out of ideas and out of options, you can’t go wrong with a bottle of wine. Grab her favorite one (or two or three) and wrap it in some fancy paper for a simple, yet effective gift this Christmas.
