The holiday season is, without a doubt, my favorite season. I am beyond thrilled to start baking holiday cookies and order peppermint mochas at the local coffee shops here in Louisville. But I am even more excited to go on holiday dates!
For all the lovebirds out there looking for a sexy holiday date, you have stumbled upon the right article. I am going to list some of my favorite holiday date ideas, because what’s better than a themed date?
1. Ice Skating
Here’s the fabulous part: you don’t even have to be good at it. It’s exponentially more fun to be horrible at ice skating with your little love.
2. Coffee Date
This is most definitely my favorite. Back home, in Bowling Green, my boyfriend and I would dress in warm, fuzzy sweaters and he’d drive us to Spencer’s Coffee downtown. We’d laugh, sip on warm lattes, and walk around the square in the chilly weather. It’s the perfect heartwarming date.
3. Cookie Baking
Oh my, this is so fun! I recommend baking sugar cookies and decorating them for the holiday season. Get some red, green, and white frosting and a load of sprinkles and go for it.
4. Christmas Movie Night
You can participate in all the snuggles in the world, wrapped up in warm blankets and cozy socks. Make some hot chocolate, too.
5. Holiday Lights
Take a drive around neighborhoods and go look at all the Christmas lights. Get hot chocolate or coffee to go, too. If there aren’t any decorations up yet, decorate your own place. Shop at Target for some cheap(er) decorations and have a blast putting them up together.
The holidays are such a sweet, warm time. Enjoy every moment!
