Being in quarantine at home can be very stressful, especially when you run out of things to do because you then are forced to just sit there and listen to everything that is happening instead of doing something to take your mind off of it. There are many different things that you can do to be able to take your mind off the situation and keep yourself busy that is really fun!
Baking
Baking is a super fun activity that leaves you with very tasty results! The first day I was home, I made blueberry muffins for my family and I enjoyed spending time making them.
Playing With Pets
If you have a pet, one of the best things you can do to take your mind off of the situation is to spend time with them. You can take them for walks, throw the ball around with them, and cuddle with them! Pets love to spend time with their owners, so this can be a great thing to do any day!
Start A New Netflix Show
This is the perfect time to indulge yourself in a new series. Right now, my two favorites are That 70’s Show and Tiger King! Netflix has plenty of great options for everyone, so find the perfect new show for you!
Facetime Friends
Everyone is going through the same thing and it is more likely than not that you are going to have very similar emotions, as well as all looking for things to do. Facetiming your friends can be a great way to keep yourself busy and keep in contact. You can even have Zoom calls with a bunch of friends so you are all together again!
