It’s hard to believe that we have been back for a month already- where has this term gone? It seems to be getting busier and busier, and with deadlines piling on top of me, I have to remind myself to take some time out and unwind.
Nina Nesbitt’s new album

Nina Nesbitt has been one of my favourite musicians for a while now and I was thrilled when her second album, The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change, was released last week. I urge you to listen to it if you haven’t already!
A quiet study space

I love finding a quiet to study to help my motivation and productivity levels. Whether I’m in the library at 9am or sat in my room in my dressing gown, I enjoy being able to work in a calm environment.
Reading for leisure

Reading for leisure is something I have become admittedly terrible at since starting university. I have always loved a good book but sometimes it is a lot easier to be passive and sit down to watch an episode of Friends on Netflix. Recently, I have tried to read a chapter of a book before bed to unwind. One I am particularly enjoying is ‘Jog On’ by Bella Mackie, who honestly discusses her battle with mental health and how her surprising new found love of running was able to help her.
Cooking from scratch

Let’s be honest, it’s so much easier to just shove some frozen food in the oven after a long day in the library. I just find that making a bit of extra time to prepare something really nourishing is both enjoyable and can produce a delicious end result!
An early night

Being in bed early has genuinely made such a difference recently. I feel a lot more energized and ready for the day ahead.
