We all heard of AT&T. We all seen the advertisements. We probably know the jingle (bum-bum-bum bum). BUT, do you know AT&T as a Internship program?! Well, here it is.
From a recent visit from the Lead College Recruiting Manager, Tyler Vixie from AT&T offered to the University of La Verne students an internship opportunity.
If you’re a graduate student looking for a job, here’s the opportunity waiting for you to snag.
The Business Sales leadership Development Program offers graduate students a “road to success,” stated by Tyler. With the program, the student will be exposed to a 16-week full-time, paid job at Atlanta, Georgia learning business-to-business sales.
Tyler states, “This 16-week paid program offers instructor-led, web-based and hands-on training – all designed to help you gain new experiences and transform your skills. You’ll kick off your adventure in Atlanta, and after honing your skills, you can anticipate relocation to one of AT&T’s nationwide markets with a demand for your talent. It’s just the opportunity you need to hit the ground running.” Looks to me, with a passion for sales and technology, a student can achieve wonders in this program.

I also got to meet Hailey, a recent graduate form the program whom relocated to LA from her hometown with a degree in journalism. She took interest in this program and now she works as a associate full-time with AT&T. “This program really opened my eyes to new experiences” she stated. Just comes to prove, with any degree, this program will lead you on the right road to success.
The program is looking for aspiring individuals ready to build consultative selling and technical skills and deliver the future of AT&T.
If you’re considering this internship for the summer, here’s your checklist.
1. You have complete a Bachelor’s degree in (whichever major is accepted).
2. You have a sales passion and drive for growth in professional business-to-business sales.
3. You are a flexible, adaptable and tenacious self-starter with a competitive attitude.
4. You have strong communication skills (always a plus).
5. You have an adventurous spirit and are willing to relocate to another location in the U.S.

1. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
2. Related cold calling and sales experience a plus
