Air is lighter to breathe

Green of grass in the day
The games you suddenly want to play.
Pastels planted everywhere
Wondering if there are shorts to wear?
Sun is peeking through,
Ice Cream is the only scent to get to you.
Bunny shaped sugar hits the spot;
Maybe learn to tie a knot.
Luck and fortune claim it’s on the way;
So much color to save rainy days.
Surprise pop-ups from our furry friends
Who is happy that winter is at its end.
New hopes, dreams, goals
Taking time to fuel our souls.
Thinking changes to moving,
All of the negativity we’ll be removing.
Cottontail daydreams,
So many rainbows in high beams.
So much cuteness
You could scream.
Heat is coming to the scene
How can it be this serene?
Finding out what life will bring,
That must be the magic of spring.
Everything is so in between,
Making us realize we need more caffeine.
Summer comes by just to sail,
Grateful for this time to exhale.
