I am absorbed into others, my essence amplifying their own
But what I give I must replenish, and so I take
I take their habits, and make them my own
I take their phrases, and make them my own.
I take their friends, and make them my own
I take their private thoughts, and make them my own
I take because I give, and I give because-
Who am I without their thoughts?
Who am I without their friends?
