Recently, I’ve been in a pretty consistent happy mood. You’ll likely see me walking down Middle Path with a little smile on my face, or maybe skipping. I really like skipping. So, in no particular order, here are 100 things that make me smile.

1. The way tree branches look against a blue sky.

2. Harry Potter.

3. Having a really good class.

4. Having your hair cooperate with you.

5. Sunsets.

6. Hearing from my friends from high school.

7. Honestly, generally my friends from high school.

8. Really, really bad jokes.

9. Hearing an electric guitar.

10. Meeting new people.

11. Meeting new dogs.

12. Seeing flowers coming up from the ground.

13. My favorite sweatshirts.

14. My little sister’s excellent jokes.

15. Quand j’entends le francais (when I hear french).

16. Books. I really like books.

17. Amazing voices. (Aaron Tveit, I’m looking at you)

18. Eating with my friends.

19. Impromptu jam sessions.

20. Running as fast as I can for no reason.

21. Beautiful notebooks.

22. Snow as it falls on my face.

23. Kenyon. Kenyon can always make me smile.

24. Realizing I don’t owe anyone anything.

25. Feminism. (Equality makes this girl happy)

26. Stand-up comedy.

27. Dancing.

28. Kids and babies.

31. Hearing someone laugh.

32. The way the breeze smells when it’s about to rain.
