Latisha Ellison is a 20-year-old sophomore from Butler, Pennsylvania. She is a public relations major and is involved in PRSSA. Check out our interview with her below!
Her Campus: Why did you choose Public Relations (PR) as your major?
Latisha Ellison: As per usual, I thought PR was Samantha Jones in Sex and the City, but I quickly realized it wasn’t. I stuck with it though because I love how you can use PR to bring awareness to brands and causes you really care about. We have to be strategic thinkers and communicators, which is awesome.

HC: What is your dream job?
LE: I don’t really have one right now, but I’m hoping to figure that out soon.

HC: What do you hope to accomplish with the rest of your time here at Kent?
LE: I hope to hold another officer position in PRSSA, and really enjoy and embrace every moment and opportunity available.

HC: What do you like to do for fun?
LE: I like to be with friends and Netflix till 6 a.m.
HC: Are you doing anything exciting for spring break?
LE: I’m kicking off spring break by going to see Rihanna’s Anti Tour in Cincinnati, followed by a week of working at Eat’n Park back at home.

HC: What is something that no one knows about you?
LE: I have an irrational fear of falling. I don’t know, it’s weird, but the thought of falling just freaks me out.

HC: What are you most passionate about?
LE: Other than my niece and nephews, I have no idea.
HC: What is your best advice?
LE: No day but today…life is short and you have to go for it because there’s no day but today.

HC: What’s your favorite movie?
LE: Rent, hence my best advice.

HC: If you made resolutions for the new year, have you stuck with them thus far?
LE: I always make resolutions, but I never keep them. So this year, I decided not to make any.
