February the second month of the year, the month of love, and maybe a little snow as well!? February can be a challenging month for the ones who are forced to stay indoors due to the chilly winds and constant rains. Even when indoors, it is possible to feel great – here are a few goals to keep throughout the month and actually achieve something by taking one step closer to your ultimate goal!

1. Plan a getaway

With the reading week around the corner, it’s a perfect week (or weekend) to getaway. Take a group of friends and plan out a skiing trip or go to Brighton and soak the sun by the pebble beach! Or maybe even fly to Europe if you are feeling adventurous! This goal will ensure that you are not cooped up in your home the whole month with your eyes glued to the laptop.

2. Continue your new year’s resolutions

This year, this decade, make it a goal to resolve your goals – through all the ups and downs. Whether it’s going to the gym, eating healthy, attending lectures, smiling more, or whatever it is – just keep on doing it. If you stick to it now, it will naturally come to you in March and throughout the year.

3. Plan a summer vacay

Whether you want to soak up some sun on an island or go trekking within the woods and get a taste of wildlife, plan it now! Planning now = cheaper fares = an affordable holiday! If you want to intern over summer, or maybe a summer job? Start looking and mail the person-in-charge NOW.

4. Love valentine’s day

14th of February. A day for yourself. Pamper yourself. With friends or have a date with yourself! Embrace love, spread love around to everyone and maybe buy a cup of coffee – one for yourself and one for someone in need!

5. Stay positive

I know it is challenging to keep your spirits high when the sun sets at 4:30 pm and by the time you get home it’s pitch black. Make yourself a hot cup of coffee, wear your cozy fleece sweater and maybe even cook up meal for yourself!

Make February positive and make this YOUR year. After all you have done great in the first month so keep it up and keep it going!

This is your month. This is your year. So make the most out of it!
