V-Day: Single Girl Edition, As Told by the Cast of Bridesmaids

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JMU chapter.

The 14th of February is this Friday. You know what that means…

Don’t pretend like you forgot about Valentine’s Day.

Like most single girls, you’re probably choosing to ignore it.

But your roommate won’t shut up about her and her boyfriend.

You try to be positive about the whole “holiday”…

…but if you see one more heart-shaped item, you will lose it.

You try to make some plans with the girls…

…but then you realize you’re the only single one in the group.

In a brave attempt to be spirited, you try looking for a date.

You think you’ve found the one…

…until he bails last minute.

You can’t help but think it’s something that you did.

So you do everything to get his attention again…

…until you’ve decided to come to terms with who you really are.

Once your endeavors have failed, you can’t help but be annoyed with every couple you encounter for the remainder of the day.

You decide to go out and give it one last try…

…but every single frat is hosting a couple’s themed party.

So you officially give up…

…decide to convert…

…and call it a night.

It’s all over, until next year.
