I Tried a Shark Tank Fitness Product and Here are My Thoughts

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JMU chapter.

Over the past two weeks, I have been obsessing over a new Shark Tank fitness item: the Simply Fit Board. I saw this on an episode over the summer and HAD TO HAVE IT!
Basically, it works your entire body with a simple twisting motion. It’s listed as $39.99, but I got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond with a 20 percent off coupon. (Take advantage of this!! It’s expensive without the coupon!!)

The fitness plan suggests you work out for 45 minutes per day, every day. So that’s what I did for two weeks straight, and here are my thoughts.
1. This is way harder than it looks on all the tutorial videos online. I’m talking WAY harder. It took me at least a week to get a hang of the twisting motion.
2. This hurt my body way more than I thought it would. After my first day, my entire body hurt like I had just gone to a full body workout session at the gym.
3. I love how I can have such a hard-core workout from the comfort of my own home. I can work out in jeans, leggings or shorts. It’s that easy!
4. It doesn’t feel like you’re working out. It’s super easy and fun to do! You can do it watching Netflix or while you’re on the phone with your mom. Seriously, it’s so simple.

I would highly suggest this for anyone who is looking for a fun and easy way to work out from home. It’s convenient and can be taken anywhere, so you don’t have an excuse when you go home for a break or visit family over the holiday season.

Get your hands on the Simply Fit Board!! You’ll be so happy with the results. Thanks to this small, funky-looking plastic board, my core has never been stronger, and I have never been happier with my tummy.
