The end of the semester can be rough. Here are five tips to avoid over-stressing yourself before classes end and finals week begins.

1. Spend time with friends. College is only so long, and hanging out with your friends once a week will do wonders for your stress levels and overall mood.

2. Watch Netflix every once in a while. Contrary to popular belief, multi-tasking does exist! You can do homework and watch your favorite show… at the same time.

3. Call your parents. I don’t know about you, but I always feel 1,000 times better after I talk to my mom – she helps me put things into perspective.

4. Update your planner. Planning out your homework schedule will make you feel less overwhelmed… trust me, I speak from experience.

5. Go shopping! Retail therapy always boosts my mood. Treat yourself!
