Crystals are beautiful minerals that come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. Each crystal has  unique properties that are used for energy and healing. Crystals can be used throughout your everyday life to help you heal, enhance your mood and aura, or to strengthen your manifestations. All of us go through challenging times in college and crystals can help you through them.

Here are 5 crystals to keep close to you and work with while you are in college.

Bumblebee Jasper

Bumblebee Jasper is yellow with chunks of swampy green and greys in her. Bumblebee jasper was recently discovered in the 1990’s in Papandayan Volcano, Indonesia. So far, this is the only place where bumblebee jasper is found. Bumblebee Jasper is an energetic stone. When I need the motivation to do homework or my social battery needs to be charged, I wear this crystal. I got mine in Sedona, Arizona and every time I wear it, I genuinely feel energized. Bumblebee Jasper feels like a cup of coffee. I like wearing this crystal to class when I feel tired, or I want to be more sociable. She brings high vibrations and great energy. So, if you find yourself unmotivated or drained of energy, try wearing this crystal.

Malachite

If you find yourself needing comfort when going through a breakup, or other life-changing events, malachite is perfect. She is an emerald green with layers of mint green in her. She is truly a beautiful, rich green. Malachite is known as the heart opener. Malachite helps you to accept and understand situations so that you can move on. Wearing this crystal brings automatic comfort to me when I am feeling hopeless. Whenever you find yourself sad or defeated, malachite will help you let these negative feelings go.

Angel Aura Quartz

Angel aura quartz is iridescent and almost holographic. She is gorgeous.  She will keep your aura and vibe clean, pretty, and pure. She will raise your vibrations and keep you feeling good throughout your day. Angel Aura quartz is also full of feminine energy. I love wearing this crystal when I am trying to attract pure people into my life.

Sunstone

Sunstone is a beautiful peachy orange with sparkles in her. If you like carnelian, you need this stone in your life. Sunstone is great to wear in the winter if you find yourself having seasonal depression. She brings warm, summery vibes in times of darkness. Sunstone also is known for bringing happiness and good luck into your life. She will make you feel empowered and confident. So if you need a summer touch during the last few months of winter, invest in some sunstone.

Black Tourmaline

Black tourmaline is a black stone that banishes any negative or unwanted energy. Emotions such as anxiety, depression, and sadness are wiped away when this crystal is around. It is also a crystal of strength; it will bring you strength when you need it. If you are dealing with stress in your life due to college, finances, relationships and so on, I would suggest black tourmaline. Black tourmaline is also very protective from evil and harm. If you need to bring yourself back to earth and ground yourself, Black Tourmaline is the perfect crystal to do this.

You can use crystals in many ways. You can wear them as jewelry, set them on your desk or around your room, carry them in your purse, or even in your makeup bag. You can also incorporate them by throwing them in the bath, meditating with them, and anything else you can think of.  Make sure to always cleanse your crystals. You can do this with incense or water. Also be sure you are charging your crystals and putting intent behind them. You can charge your crystals with selenite, the sun, or by the phases of the moon. When setting intentions in my crystals, I like to physically speak into them. I find my crystals work much better when I do that.
