Gemini – No bakes (May 21 – June 20)

Gemini has to be no-bake cookies, they are so impatient they wouldn’t be able to wait for cookies to come out of the oven AND cool. It just wouldn’t happen, they would get distracted, so they need to be no bakes. No bakes also usually wind up an unusual shape, I’m not saying Geminis are unusual in shape, but they certainly have an “acquired taste” type of personality from my experience.

Cancer – Thumbprint cookies (June 21 – July 22)

Thumbprint cookies are perfect for cancers, they remind us of family and warmth. I don’t know a single person in their 20’s who makes thumbprint cookies, they are ones you go to mom’s or grandma’s house for. Almost a comfort item, which is right up Cancer’s ally!

Snickerdoodles are perfect for Virgos. They are the least silly Christmas cookies out there, but still one of the tastiest. The cinnamon is just enough, of course a Virgo would want that perfection. Also, they give, to me at least, a dark academia vibe. (if a cookie can give a vibe like that) This is perfect for the studious Virgo.

Libra – Lady Fingers (September 23 – October 22)

Libras strive to always present as the soft sweet ones. Lady fingers are the pizzelles distant and refined cousin. The dainty elongated shape is eye-catching, the light sweetness, and the name alone screams “soft girl” libra. However, though they are delicious, trusting in this cookie can leave you looking foolish. The powdered sugar is a slippery slope, if you’re not careful, you could end up with quite a mess! (Did everyone catch the metaphor there??)

Also called Mexican wedding cookies or Russian tea cakes, these multicultural cookies are perfect for that wanderlust Sagittarius. They’re easy to make and have a sweet melt-in-your-mouth taste. Which perfectly fits a Sagittarius’ warm, outgoing personality. They can pretty much get along with anybody and so can snowballs. (except those with nut allergies!) I know that technically, Capricorns land on Christmas day, but something about Sagittarius just says the winter and holiday season to me, so it’s perfect that these are called snowballs!
