10 Thoughts Every Senior in College has their First Week back

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at IUP chapter.

For the class of 2018, myself included, this semester marks the beginning of the end of college. Many students will either be graduating in December or they will graduate in spring. Here are some thoughts every senior in college this week has about their last year and entering the real world:

1. “Finally, only a year or less left of going to classes and doing homework!”

2. “I can’t wait to hit the bars this year with all of my friends!”

3. “I can’t wait to graduate and never have to come back here again!”

4. “Wow, my classes this year are pretty tough. Who knew 300 and 400 level classes would be hard.”

5. “All of my classes this year have a lot of work in them and I’m already drowning in work.”

6. “Oh gosh, how am I going to balance my homework, clubs, and work all at the same time?”

7. “The requirement for this entry level job is five years of experience? How am I supposed to get experience if they won’t hire me?”

8. “This internship requires experience too? I’ll never get hired at this rate.”

9. “I wish I could go back in time and change some things.”

10. “I wish I was a freshman again and not a senior, I don’t want to be an adult yet.”

Here’s to all of our seniors! Wish you the best last year!

I am a junior at IUP who hopes to one day major either in Public Relations or Political Science with an obsession with music.
