I don’t know about everyone else, but I’ve been CRAVING a good throwback TV submission for a very long time. So, here goes my personal top 10 list of the best shows to binge in order to bring you back to some happier times.

1. Hannah Montana

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this show needed to make the top of the list. The Hannah Montana series shaped my childhood in so many ways. She has grown up right along with us, for better or for worse, and has shown what really matters to her throughout it all.

2. One Tree Hill

While this might be controversial for the time period, the drama, romance and just the entire story-line develops so intensely and is so realistic. It’s a great example of a realistic high school show and if you have not seen One Tree Hill, you must!

3. Wizards of Waverly Place

Wizards of Waverly Place is such a fantastic Disney Channel show and was one of the first shows I would actually sit down and wait for the next episode to come on. There’s a great storyline of the characters throughout the series and ending the show with an intense movie was the icing on the cake!

4. iCarly

This is one of Nickelodeon’s best shows of all time because iCarly literally never gets old. Whenever it was on, you know I’d be there watching. Each episode always has a great plot that makes you laugh and there is phenomenal character development. I still turn it on from time to time when I’m in need of a good chuckle.

5. The Camp Rock Movies

Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam screams childhood nostalgia. These were iconic moments for the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato’s acting/singing careers that created their fame within this generation.

6. The High School Musical Trilogy

Another phenomenal movie series that everyone needs to watch; not only for the attractiveness of Zac Efron, but for the plot development, of course! Will Troy continue with music or with basketball? The High School Musical trilogy is the depiction of an optimal high school experience.

7. The Cheetah Girls Triology

In my opinion, The Cheetah Girls 2 is the best movie out of the trilogy, but the entire franchise brings back so many childhood memories for me. The music and the cast are outstanding and has such a unique and entertaining storyline, not to mention the amazing tracksuits the girls would wear throughout the show!

8. The Parent Trap

The Parent Trap is one of Lindsay Lohan’s most iconic movies and she did an amazing job playing two characters (well, twins). No matter what your age is, this movie never disappoints when it’s on and is always a go-to. The story is so unique and the switch is done in such a fun way. Plus, who doesn’t love a happily ever after?

9. Glee

I absolutely love this show! Glee convinced me that I was a good singer (even though that’s far from the truth) and always had me on my toes. You develop such a personal connection with the cast which makes it one of the top 10 best shows.

10. Full House

An absolute classic here. Full House is one of those shows that you don’t need to watch from start to finish, but if you do, it makes it that much better. I had the full eight seasons disc set and would watch it every weekend in my pajamas. It’s a hysterical and heart-warming show with fun characters and depicts the true meaning of family. Plus, the Netflix spin-off, Fuller House, continued with the same characters who are now grown up and taking on the adult world.
