For me, October first is the start of Halloween season. So, it’s never too early to start getting in the Halloween spirit by binge watching all of your favorite TV show Halloween specials. Whether you are having a girls night in, a Netflix night with your SO, or a chill night by yourself, these Halloween specials will be sure to give you all the tricks and treats for this Halloween season.

Friends: “The One with the Halloween Party”

What better way to spend Halloween than a costume party with your BFFs? This episode will not only get you in the Halloween spirit but might give you some costume ideas as well. SPUD-nik? A big pink bunny? Sexy nurse? Or maybe just dress as your best friend? There are too many amazing ideas in this one episode. Perhaps you just want to pull out a cute dress that you haven’t had the excuse to wear!

New Girl: “Keaton”

“This is the night when anyone can dress up in a costume and be anybody they want” -drunk Jessica Day. Jess throws a party to reconnect with her best friend, the crew “catfishes” their pal Schmidt, and more chaos in the loft makes for a pretty spooky Halloween episode for the crew.

One Tree Hill: “An Attempt to Tip the Scales”

The drama only heightens when costumes and mistaken identities are involved. As the high schoolers attend a masked ball for Halloween at Tric, relationships are tested and friendships are shifted. This episode is the perfect mix of drama and Halloween spirit to get you in the holiday mood.

Stranger Things: “Trick or Treat, Freak”

A love triangle between Nancy, Jonathan, and Steve; a threatening older brother; and a group of boys prone to danger: the perfect Halloween special. Also, what’s creepier than the discovery of Dustin’s new pet Dart?

The Office: “Halloween”

Michael Scott (as usual) waits for the last minute to fire one of his employees by the end of October: Halloween. Pam sabotages Angela’s party planning committee by serving brownies instead of chips and dip. (How dare she?!?) Dunder Mifflin employees bring out some top-notch Halloween costumes.

Gossip Girl: “How to Succeed in Bassness”

What better way to start your Halloween season than with your favorite upper-East Siders? You know you love a Bass club opening, especially on Halloween night. Will our favorite blonde pull another stunt? Will Lonely Boy keep his A-list girlfriend? Will B and C end on good terms? The one day of the year it’s socially acceptable to play dress-up. XOXO – Gossip Girl.
