Coming back to school and realizing you have a 30 minute walk to class at 9am is a nightmare. Instead of listening to the same playlist you made sitting at your summer job, listen to a podcast. Hearing “podcast” probably makes you think of NPR or your grandparents, but these three podcasts will take your agonizing walks to class and turn them into something to look forward to.

1. The Morning Toast

Missed the Bachelor last night? The Morning Toast, hosted by Claudie Oshry (Girl With No Job), and her sister, Jackie Oshry have got you covered. The hilarious and relatable Oshry’s discuss everything from pop culture to major news stories. Talking about their personal lives and commenting on their family drama leaves you counting the minutes until their next episodes. They also have an advice collumn for their listeners as well as Facebook groups that give you the inside scoop on your favorite celebrities. The Morning Toast is a fun community that makes it so easy to get comfy and hear the latest gossip.

2. Pardon My Take

Stay entertained and up to date on everything sports with Big Cat, Hank and PFT Commentator on Pardon My Take (PMT) by Barstool Sports. With their fresh take on athletes, games and fantasy football, PMT will have you laughing along whether or not you know how to throw a football. They constantly interview sports icons and by releasing a new episode every few days, you will never miss a moment. Pardon My Take is that sports podcast that’s there for your sports’ love and your dad bod.

3. Call Her Daddy

Want her to notice you? Want him to text you back? Curious about how to cheat and get away with it? Alex and Sophia on Call Her Daddy have all the comedic advice you could ask for. With a new topic of conversation every Wednesday, Alex and Sophia speak from experience and dive into personal mishaps and stories that will keep you waiting on the next episode. They also give tips and tricks to their listeners that write in with their own problems. There has never been a podcast like this in your life, and trust me, you need it.

Get on the right track this semester with adding these to your to-do list and you will start getting excited for that early morning walk to class.
