As the weather (hopefully) gets warmer, beauty routines deserve some spring updating. Here are five spring beauty essentials to add to your collection ASAP.

1. Benefit Cheek & Lip Stains

Warm weather beauty routines are all about simplicity. Benefit’s Cheek Stains give your cheeks the perfect, natural flush that lasts all day long. Try applying with your fingertips for an even application. Plus, these stains double as a lip tint, meaning you’ll have one less item in your makeup bag.

2. Jergens Natural Glow

With spring break quickly approaching it’s time to ditch the winter paleness, even if you aren’t traveling somewhere tropical. Jergens Natural Glow provides an even and believable tan at a drugstore price (and is a lot safer than basking in the harmful UV rays). Just apply once a day to dry, clean skin to trick everyone into thinking you spent your break at the beach.

3. Laura Mercier Foundation Primer- Radiance

This primer gives the skin a smooth texture by minimizing the appearance of pores and blemishes while providing a fresh glow thanks to its pearl tint. The water-based formula ensures that your makeup will last all day, even as the weather warms and the likeliness of sweating while walking across the quad increases.

4. CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM

Although sunscreen should be worn year round, it’s sometimes difficult to remember during the bleak, winter months. As the days become longer and nicer, you’ll inevitably spend more time outside, making sun protection even more important.  CeraVe’s lightweight formula boasts a non-greasy feeling and SPF 30. Apply this in the morning and you’re set for the day.

5. Essie Nail Polish

These spring hues are the perfect colors to swap out for your dark, winter manis. The huge range of polishes guarantees that there’s a flattering color for everyone. A personal favorite of mine is “Minimialistic.”
