Having oily skin might be more annoying to deal with than acne because there’s no easy solution like an overnight spot treatment.

I have never had the skin type that breaks out often, but my oil level and pores have always been a huge problem for me. Although my skin is not near perfect, I have come down to a night-time skin routine that has improved my skin and helped me manage my oil level and size of my pores.

Here are the products I use step-by-step:

1. Cleansing

                      via Amazon

First, I remove my makeup with Simple Hydrating Cleansing Wipes. These makeup wipes use micellar technology and are safe to use for eye makeup removal. I have tried several different types of wipes, but I have absolutely loved these and don’t plan to change them. Since using a wipe doesn’t necessarily get all the makeup off the skin, I use my Foreo Luna Mini 2 with Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser to get all the dirt out of my pores.

2. Serum

                       via Macy’s

After cleansing and drying my face, I apply Origins Original Skin Renewal Serum with Willow Herb. If your skin is anything like mine, I highly suggest using products with willow herb. I have found it to do WONDERS.

3. Toner

                       via Target

This honestly might be my holy grail skin care product. I have tried switching and automatically saw a poor difference in my skin. After applying my serum, I wipe a Pixi Skintreats Glow Tonic To-Go pad all around my face. They also have a regular toner in a bottle, but I have found the pads to be much more convenient.

4. Moisturize

                       via Beauty Bay

Okay, I’m going to admit that I do the most when it comes to moisturizing, but I always wake up with my skin extremely hydrated and glowing. I spray three different Mario Badescu facial sprays on my face, three times each. I spray the green tea, rosewater, and then lavender sprays. My face is usually pretty damp after this, so I take a few seconds to fan myself before applying Origins Original Skin Matte Moisturizer with Willow Herb. I have tried several different samples of other moisturizers, but always find myself coming back to this.

Hope these products help you as much as they have helped me!
