Midterms are just around the corner my friends. I’m not exactly sure how, but we’ve basically made it to the second part of second semester. I know this can be a stressful time for a lot of people so I’m going to take some time and give you all some tips on how to survive midterms week.

  1. Get sleep

This is the most obvious one but it’s true. If you get a good amount of sleep each night leading up to and during midterms week, you’ll be refreshed and prepared for anything

  1. Drink water and eat

Nothing is worse than waking up during midterms week and seeing that you’re also breaking out. By not eating right and not drinking enough water, combined with the fact that you’re stressed out, you will for sure breakout. Avoid that! It’s easy to simply drink water and limit unhealthy foods for this week.

  1. Study as much as you can

STUDY STUDY STUDY!!!! You’ll thank yourself later when you only need a 62% on the final to get an A in the class. With that being said though, don’t overwork yourself. You definitely know a lot more than you think you do so study but within reason.

  1. Take time for yourself

I know this week will be stressful and you’re just going to want to get it over with. Take some time out of the week for yourself. Make yourself a nice little dinner and sit down and watch a movie or “The Bachelor” for a few hours. Let yourself de-stress even if it is only for a few hours.

  1. Get ahead in classes

If you don’t have a midterm for one or more than one of your classes, take that opportunity to get ahead in those classes. Check the syllabus to see what upcoming projects, papers or quizzes you have and see if you can start on them. By doing this, you’re relieving yourself of future stress.

Take care of yourself during midterms. I know they can be scary and intimidating but if you study and make sure you know your stuff, you’ll be fine.
